After a distinguished 30-year career in media and communication, Jim Macnamara was appointed to the post of Professor of Public Communication and Director of the Australian Centre for Public Communication at the University of Technology Sydney in August 2007.

Media Monitors acquires CARMA International (Asia Pacific)

After founding and heading the exclusive franchise of the world’s leading media analysis firm, CARMA International, in Asia Pacific for 10 years, Jim Macnamara sold the firm to media monitoring giant, Media Monitors, in January 2006.
